Terms and Conditions

1. General

The present sales conditions detailed below exclusively determine the contractual relations between all the users of the site www.alrossio.pt, whose company belongs to Alrossio 2 - Telecomunicações, Lda, with headquarters located at Rua Aquiles Machado, nº 5, Loja Esqª, nº 1, 1900-077 Lisboa, Portugal, with tax number 515577600.

Only registered users may make purchases on the site and by accepting the conditions below:

a) Prices available on the site are exclusive to the online store, already include VAT and may be changed without notice.

b) Alrossio is not responsible for any errors in the prices published on the website and the validity of the technical descriptions of the products, as well as the photographs, since this information comes from our suppliers. We update the information daily in order to ensure that all our products have the correct and updated information, thus minimizing any errors that may occur.

c) The availability indicated in the articles may suffer alterations due to eventual problems occurred during the transport and delivery of the order or by momentary stock rupture, being the client informed of these alterations through the contact data available in his client account.

d) The data collected at the time of registration of the customer, are intended solely for the processing of any order and its invoice and will never be provided to third parties.

e) All names, logos and trademarks displayed on this website are the property of their respective owners.

f) In case the client does not indicate the taxpayer number, name and address, an invoice will be issued with the taxpayer number 9999990 and in the name of 'Final Consumer'. If you wish to invoice with your tax number, all the data mentioned (VAT number, name and address) must be filled at registration. After the invoice is issued we will not reissue it.

2. Ways of Payment

a) Multibanco: Payments by ATM Reference can be made through Homebanking or the ATM Network. At the end of your order, the ATM reference will be generated and sent to your email and customer area on the site. To make the payment you must select the option "Payments for Services/Purchases" and enter the entity, reference and corresponding amount that were sent.

b) Bank Transfer: You must first make the order and select this payment method, you will be presented with the NIB for the transfer, which you must take note of to make the transfer or deposit later.

Before making the transfer you must wait for a confirmation email from us.

We will proceed to send the order as soon as the payment is verified, remembering that some banks may take 1 to 2 days to finish the transfer.

The limit established for this mode of payment is 5,000 euros (per order), in case of orders of higher value you should contact our "Customer Service" (encomendas@alrossio.pt) to inform you how to proceed.

c) Cash on delivery: In this modality the total amount of the order must not exceed 300 euros (VAT incl.). You must pay the order directly in cash to the courier at the time of delivery. This payment method is not valid for equipment (Smartphones, cell phones, tablets, laptops, among others).

We will send your order within 24 to 48 hours after the order is placed, as long as all the items ordered are available in stock.

This method of payment will have as an added fee 2% on the total value of your purchase, the value will be calculated and presented to the customer at the time of completion of the order or choosing the option to "calculate postage" in the shopping cart section of our site.

Alrossio 2 - Telecommunications, Ltd. reserves the right to retain full ownership of the item until full payment, including possible errors of the seller or carrier.

d) MbWay: Pay your order through your mobile number with mbway, without additional costs. You must have the application active on your device in order to pay by this way. For more information about this payment method, click here.

e) Paypal: is a fast and secure service that allows you to make payments online, if you want to know more about PayPal click here.

We will send orders paid via PayPal within 24-48 hours after ordering, as long as all items you have purchased are available in stock. This service has an increase of 3% on the total amount of your purchase.

f) Payshop: To pay the order by Payshop, you must go to one of the Payshop agents (Agents), indicate the reference you obtained with the order and make the respective payment.

3. Shipment of orders

a) All orders are sent through CTT or DPD carriers. 

b) Orders are processed in working days until 5 pm. After the payment confirmation, the orders are sent to the address indicated by the customer. Pre-orders, unlike normal and above mentioned orders, will only be processed when the product is available by the brand, for official distribution and for the final customer.

c) The shipping costs of the orders are borne by the customer and add to the total value of the products selected. The customer will be informed of these charges before confirming his order and completing the purchase process, as well as the difference in value depending on the shipping method chosen.

d) Under the provisions of Decree-Law No. 7/2004 of January 7 (as amended by Decree-Law No. 62/2009 of March 10 and Law No. 46/2012 of August 29), Alrossio reserves the right to unilaterally cancel any orders whose final price is wrong or outdated or whenever there is a programming error, malfunction of Alrossio's equipment as well as that of the contractual proposal arrive at their destination wrong, and the error relates to an essential element of the contract. The customer will be notified of this fact before payment has been made, however, if payment has already been made the customer will be refunded in full.

e) Alrossio reserves the right to cancel any orders, the payment of which has not been made up to 5 working days after the date of completion.

f) Orders will only be processed after confirmation of payment and will be sent to the address requested at the time of order, so it is not possible to guarantee the availability of items until the beginning of their processing.

g) In case the articles are not in stock in our warehouse because they are ordered by order, a sign can be requested in order to proceed with the order of the article in question to the supplier. The signage will be 30% or higher (if agreed between both parties) and only after confirmation of payment of the signage will start counting the agreed delivery time in working days. In case of withdrawal by the customer, the sign will not be returned. If there is a delivery time much longer than agreed, Alrossio will refund and allow the cancellation of the same order.

h) In case of orders for a counter refund, this will only be sent after validation via phone to the customer, so it is necessary that the phone indicated at the time of registration is the correct one. As a means of payment no checks will be accepted, only cash (cash). The customer can also pay by check (in registered letter to our address) and after good recovery we will send the product ordered.

i) Any offers associated with a product ordered will always be subject to stock confirmation and may be cancelled without notice.

j) Orders for Europe and the rest of the world should be made through the email encomendas@alrossio.pt. The cost of transport always depends on the weight and country to which it will be sent, this will be calculated based on the price list of shipments of the carrier CTT. In shipments to countries outside the European Union and depending on the laws of each country, Customs may require payment of taxes to which Alrossio is unaware, these will be borne by the customer.

k) Orders shipped by Alrossio and that for any reason (absence, wrong address, etc.) has not been delivered to the customer, the customer must make the claim within 30 days after shipment, otherwise the order will be given as lost and the customer will not be entitled to any credit on the order. In situations of repaired / damaged products that the customer does not proceed to its withdrawal until 3 months after having been warned to do so, Alrossio is not responsible for any loss or misplacement of it.

l) Any change to the order information, after submission of the order, should be communicated by email or telephone, provided that the order has not been shipped. If the shipment has already occurred, additional costs may occur for the customer. 

m) Any delay in the shipment of the order, given the shipping dates presented, does not entitle the customer to any compensation.

n) In case of unavailability of any product ordered, and after having contacted the supplier about the possibility of replacement of the missing product, Alrossio will notify the customer if the delivery time or the price of the article changes, the order will only proceed after consent given by the customer.

o) Alrossio may propose to the customer the supply of a product of equivalent quality and price, if any, and also in this case the order will only proceed after consent given by the customer.

4. Exchanges, Returns and Refunds

The exchanges and returns of products sold at a distance are governed by Decree Law No. 24/2014 of 14 February.
All electronic components such as: Lcd, flex, Touch screen, lenses, repair components, chips etc, are exclusive products for specialized retailers. Alrossio will not admit returns for evident evidence of negligence, incorrect handling or use of bad faith.

Conditions of return

a) Termination of the contract can be requested in the Request Return section at the bottom of the site. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that your communication regarding the exercise of the right of free withdrawal is sent to Alrossio before the end of the withdrawal period.

b) Exchanges/returns of ordered products will only be accepted up to 14 days after the date of receipt of the order, as described in the legislation governing this sector. The returned products must come with the invoice, manuals, accessories and original packaging intact, and any associated offers, as they were sold and sent to the customer. Otherwise Alrossio reserves the right not to accept the return.

Warning:
Write the Return Number on a paper or sticker and stick it on the outside of the package in a visible way.
You should write only: DVD Nº....
*All the packages that do not have in the external part the number of DVD will be automatically rejected and returned.

c) The costs of returning the order will always be fully supported by the client, regardless of its nature or size. In case the product to be returned cannot be returned by regular mail, its cost may reach a maximum of 100 euros, depending on the volume and weight of the product to be returned.

d) In case of refund, it will always be made through bank transfer, and will only be made after Alrossio's verification of the conformity of the product status as well as its packaging, manuals, accessories and warranty seals. Refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 days. Returns by mistake/customer dissatisfaction without justification will have an administrative cost of 10 euros on the amount to be returned.

e) Returns will not be accepted for products whose warranty/security seal is torn, cut or violated or products whose consumables are used and their respective open packaging or other conditions that make their resale impossible.

f) If the product to be returned has any offer, it must also be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging intact, if this is not the case Alrossio will discount the value of the product to the amount to be returned to the customer.

g) We will not accept returns of any products (faulty or under warranty) that are sent to our offices for collection.

h) We will not accept returns of any products ordered to size or customized for the customer.

i) Returns or exchange of items after used will not be accepted. The client will be held responsible for the depreciation of the good, if the manipulation carried out to inspect the nature, characteristics and functioning of that good exceeds the manipulation that is usually admitted in a commercial establishment, in which case it will be considered that the good does not meet the conditions for the termination of the contract and therefore the return or exchange is not accepted by Alrossio.

j) Exchanges for customer dissatisfaction or deceit, will only be accepted if it meets all the conditions of exchange / return. An administrative cost of 5 euros will be deducted from the amount paid for the article in exchange. The value can be returned to the customer through a credit note in the customer account so he can use it in a next order within 30 days.

k) If the customer verifies that the packaging of the product is torn, open or in bad condition, he must refuse the order and indicate in the transport guide the reason for the refusal. If the client accepts the order and it is in bad condition, he must always mention in the transport guide that the product was damaged and if he does not do so, the responsibility will be taken by the client.

Note: The deadline for analysis of returns may take 14 working days.
           Return requests may take 48 hours to be confirmed.

Items not accepted for Returns/Swaps*

*Without prejudice to the exercise of the recurring rights of consumer goods.

- Large household appliances, large television sets with diagonal screens of 66cm (26") or more as long as they have been opened or security seals have been tampered with;

- Hardware (fixed computers, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners), External and Peripheral Disks (components), Computer consumables (ink/toner), Consoles as long as they have been opened or the security seals have been violated;

- Cell phones, Smartphones, their batteries and accessories (earphones), GPS and Internet cards, Software, CD's, DVD's and games, as long as they have been opened or the security seals have been violated;

- Items ordered by catalog, by measure or personalized;

- Motorized vehicles;

- Lcd, flex, Touch screen, lenses, repair components, chips, etc, which are in open packaging and without the protection film;

- Hygiene or personal care articles (e.g. earphones and headphones), regardless of being sealed.

Important

When receiving your order always check that the box is not dented and the products damaged, if this happens you should reject the order immediately and complain in the CTT transport guide.

Alrossio will not be responsible for orders that are accepted under the conditions described above. You have up to 24 hours after receipt to notify us of an order problem.

5. Jurisdiction

In case of dispute, the courts of the district of Lisbon will have jurisdiction, renouncing any other legal forum.

6. Guarantee and Breakdowns

The warranty of all products sold by Alrossio is established exclusively by their manufacturer and presupposes their correct use according to their standards of use.

The duration of the warranty may be changed unilaterally by the manufacturer and may also vary depending on the type of product and its use (e.g. articles for professional use may have a 1 year warranty, if the manufacturer so determines, accessories such as batteries and headphones that come with the equipment have a warranty of only 6 months).

All equipment (cell phones, tablets, notebooks...) is guaranteed for 2 years.

All accessories (batteries, earphones...) are guaranteed for 6 months.

a) Faulty equipment that is sent to Alrossio without prior notice will not be accepted. All requests for technical assistance should be requested to the email geral@alrossio.pt.

b) The period for repairing faulty equipment under warranty depends exclusively on the manufacturer or the entity designated by him to carry out the repair. Alrossio will not be responsible for any repair time and the customer should contact the official manufacturer/repairer.

c) In case of warranty breakdowns, the cost of shipping the broken item is the customer's sole responsibility, and only products that are still within 14 days after receipt of the order will be accepted for exchange.

d) Whenever a fault occurs after 14 days, Alrossio will provide all necessary information (name, address and telephone) so that the customer can establish contact with the manufacturer / official representative, thus ensuring the guarantee to the customer. It will be necessary to present the invoice issued by Alrossio, as well as any manuals and accessories for the product, so that the warranty is correctly validated with the manufacturer / representative.

e) If the manufacturer of the article purchased at Alrossio has no representative or repairer in Portugal or in the country where it was sold, the customer must communicate the shipment to Alrossio, so that we can intermediate the warranty with the manufacturer or repairer, however it will remain the responsibility of the manufacturer, as indicated in point 6 b).

f) The products sent to Alrossio must be accompanied by the invoice, manuals, accessories and original packaging. In case of confirmation of breakdown, the product will be replaced by a similar one, provided that it is available in stock. If the damage is not confirmed, the shipping costs will be entirely the responsibility of the customer.
